Hi, we're Scott & Rachelle. We love where we live and we love sharing it with others! Collectively we have 35+ years in Sonoma County and will always call it home. We are raising our family here and we are rooted in this community.

We purchased our lot in 2008 and built our home with the intent of creating an in-law space for my mother and family that came to visit. As a young family, though, we quickly realized the financial demands of living in Northern California and decided that we had to generate more income to support ourselves.

Finding Airbnb was our answer. Being an Airbnb host allows us to offset part of our mortgage so we can continue to live in the community that we love.  It helps us maintain our home and gives us the opportunity to enroll our kids in sports and afterschool activities. Airbnb has given us the ability to afford the lifestyle that we want to provide for our children because we now have a new stream of income.

Being involved with the Sonoma County Coalition of Hosts community is so important because it directly networks us with other families and individuals doing the same thing that we are. We’ve met many interesting, like-minded people through the Coalition that have supported us and helped us along the way. The SCCH is a wonderful tool for us as new hosts.

We've traveled the globe and still believe that we reside in one of the most beautiful places. We love having guests visit and enjoy sharing the beauty and bounty of Sonoma with others. We are lucky to live in Sonoma County and we are grateful to be Airbnb hosts.
